Position Senior Special Assets Manager
Job Status Full-Time
Location Capitol Square 25 West Main Street Madison, WI 53703-3374
Schedule M-F - 8-5; additional hours as needed. (100% Time)
General Description Manage a portfolio of more complex commercial business and real estate loans designated as distressed or special assets. Recommend and implement a strategy to stabilize the credit and optimize the collection and/or recovery of loans.
Training On the job training.
Salary Will discuss in interview.

Skills / Requirements
CERTIFICATE/DEGREE/LICENSE REQUIREMENTS: Valid driver's license required. Must be 21 years of age and have a good driving record for insurance purposes.
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: Ten years of banking experience to include six years in commercial loan workouts including loan restructuring, bankruptcy, foreclosure and litigation. Broad knowledge of commercial credit analysis, underwriting and appraisal required.
SKILL REQUIREMENTS: Excellent negotiation skills required. Previous computer experience in a window environment required. Experience with MS Office preferred.
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Accounting or related field required. Finance degree preferred.
COMMUNICATIVE SKILLS: Effective verbal and written communication skills. Extensive direct, telephone and written contact with customers, title companies, real estate agents, contactors, subcontractors, Register of Deeds, other financial institutions, attorneys and AnchorBank personnel.
Consideration may be given to education/experience in lieu of these requirements.
