Job Description

Imagine Yourself

*Providing Psychotherapy to individuals, families, and couples along the developmental life span to include children and adolescents.


*Working as a team with a staff of psychotherapists, psychologists, and psychiatrists for regular consultation, collaboration, and referral development.


*Creating your own referral sources through building relationships with primary care, psychiatrists, EAP counselors, school counselors, and other providers.


*Demonstrating knowledge in diagnosing and treating the full spectrum of depressive and anxiety disorders, ADHD, eating disorders, and other common DSM presenting problems


*Demonstrating knowledge regarding the interface between medical care and behavioral health care.


*Providing strength based and solution focused interventions.


*Drawing on knowledge in the practice of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Stress Management.


*Willingness to develop specialty area of practice as needed.


*Marketing these skills by writing articles, doing community presentations, or other media related activities.


*Utilizing experience and skills focusing on the adolescent patient population with substance abuse issues

Skills / Requirements

General Qualifications

*Requires Master's degree in Clinical Social Work, Clinical Psychology, Guidance Counseling or Mental Health Nursing or other related field.

*Requires WI Licensure as a Clinical Social Worker, Marriage and Family Therapist or Professional Counselor granted through the WI Department of Regulation and Licensing

*Requires a minimum of 3,000 hours of demonstrated experience in the provision of psychotherapeutic services.

*Experience in providing Outpatient behavioral health services


Desired Qualifications

*Demonstrated ability to engage clients.

*Ability to work both on a team and independently as needed in a large health care system.

*Ability to be adaptive, energetic, positive, and proactive in problem-solving.

*Broad knowledge of behavioral health issues and delivery of services in substance abuse, child/adolescent care, eating disorders, stress management.

*Considering candidates with demonstrated adolescent substance abuse Outpatient experience

*Credentialed Substance Abuse Counselor (SAC) or SAC-IT preferred.
