Job Description

Imagine yourself

*Escorting patients to exam rooms, completing a brief history and obtaining vital signs.

*Updating the patient's medical record for provider review.

*Organizing and preparing exam rooms and maintaining a clean, safe, and well stocked environment.

*Administering routine medications, including: immunizations, antibiotics, pain medications, vitamins and topical agents.

*Providing basic patient education.

*Updating medication lists, filing, prior authorizations for refill requests.

*Maintaining patient flow to ensure a seamless customer experience.

Skills / Requirements

General Qualifications

*High school diploma or equivalent.

*Successful completion of an approved Medical Assistant program OR knowledge, skills and abilities required to perform this job are typically acquired through one year of progressively responsible experience as a medical assistant.

*CPR Certified or obtained within 6 months of hire.

*Proficient computer skills.


Desired Qualifications

*Previous Medical Assistant experience is preferred.
