Job Description

Imagine Yourself Working With This Team
The Intensive Care/Stepdown Unit at the Aurora Medical Center in Two Rivers cares for a variety of patients in our busy 18 bed unit. Our team of caregivers work closely together and collaborate with other health care professionals to provide exceptional care to patients of all ages. Our community hospital opened in 2000 and offers a unique environment that supports holistic care to the patients and families we serve.

Imagine Yourself...

*Coordinating tests and treatments with and between various departments for the patients on the nursing units.

*Facilitating communications, including the multiple-line telephone, floor paging and in-house systems, and the hospital information system.

*Accurately transcribing orders.

*Compiling necessary chart forms for admissions, transfers, discharges.

*Assisting physicians and other health care team members with hospital systems as needed to access patient information, i.e., medical records, documentation systems.

*Monitoring telemetry.

Skills / Requirements

General Qualifications

Health Unit Coordinator. Certified Nursing Assistant.

Desired Qualifications

Telemetry tech. Experience as working as a HUC/CNA
