Schedule: Part-time
Shift: 2nd shift
Hours: EVERY Saturday and Sunday

JOB TITLE: Patient Care TechnicianPurpose
The Patient Care Technician provides basic patient care and services as specified under the direction and supervision of a registered nurse. This includes patient care related as well as clerical duties of the Patient Care Assistant and Health Unit Coordinator.
Responsibilities
-Follows RN's direction to complete the assigned patient care tasks according to established procedures
-Gathers and documents data accurate to contribute to assessment of patient and to assure the integrity of the medical record.
-Performs basic patient care assistant skills
-Establishes a rapport with patients and families
-Compliant with attendance policy
-Maintains a clean orderly environment
-Completes assigned unit duties and manages time effectively
Skills / Requirements
Qualifications -High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred
-American Heart Association CPR for the Health Care Provider certification required.
-Current on the state of Wisconsin CNA registry of a nursing student with at least on completed adult clinical and currently enrolled in nursing school
-Basic math and computer skills
-One year of experience as a nursing assistant is preferred
-Knowledge of medical terminology preferred
-Graduate of a HUC program preferred
-Excellent attendance history
