Profile: Fox Valley Chapter SHRM

The Society for Human Resource Management of the Fox Valley (SHRM) is a professional organization, founded in 1970 for those involved in the human resource management profession. It has greatly expanded over the years with today’s membership exceeding 300 and representing over 168 employers. Fox Valley SHRM typically holds meetings the third Tuesday of each month. Times and locations may vary. Meeting notices are sent out electronically to the membership each month with the upcoming topics and agenda. Programs and monthly announcements are also listed on this web-site.

Mission:

The purpose of SHRM is to provide an opportunity for Human Resource professionals in the Fox Valley area to meet in a spirit of cooperation for purposes of education and information-sharing relating to human resource management. The Chapter’s mission is to enhance the professionalism of human resource management in the Fox Valley area, to establish friendly communication between the various employers, and to prepare human resource professionals for their roles as leaders and decision makers within their organizations.
