SII Investments, Inc. got its start in 1968 when Secura Insurance Company made a decision to add a securities channel to their existing business. Secura Investments, Inc., gave property and casualty insurance agents the flexibility to sell securities to their clients.

Partly in reaction to the tremendous growth of the stock market in the 1980's, Secura (in 1990) repositioned Secura Investments, Inc. as an independent broker/dealer. Secura Investments, Inc. flourished throughout the 1990's by offering great representative payouts and capitalizing on the exceptional relationships cultivated through its dedicated staff.

In June of 1997, two of Secura's top representatives and one employee of the broker/dealer purchased Secura Investments, Inc. from Secura Insurance Company. The name was changed to SII Investments, Inc. This group continued to enhance the services offered, recruit and train outstanding employees, and expand operations at an amazing rate.

One year after this change (March, 1998), SII Investments, Inc. was acquired by Jackson National Life Insurance Company ® (Jackson), one of the largest life insurance companies in the United States. This change allowed SII to focus on representative relationships and the service culture of the organization. The network resources available from this new parent company also enabled SII to bring new technology and expanded offerings to representatives.

Today SII continues this growth with a focus on quality, and stands for Service, Innovation, and Integrity. These principles permeate throughout the organization, truly encompassing what SII stands for.

SII Investments Inc. is affiliated with Jackson National Life Insurance Company®.  In 2000, SII realized gross revenues totaling nearly $78 million (an increase of approximately 28%), enabling us to maintain our top-tier status in the independent Broker/Dealer industry.
