About Us

The Human Resource Management Association of Southeastern Wisconsin, Inc. is a professional organization, founded in 1925, for those involved in the human resource management profession. It is the local affiliate chapter of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM), www.shrm.org the world´s largest association devoted to human resource management. HRMA has greatly expanded over the years with today's membership exceeding 900 and representing over 500 employers. HRMA is one of the largest of the 500 SHRM affiliated chapters in the United States.

HRMA serves HR professionals by providing growth, development and leadership opportunities. HRMA advances the HR profession by functioning as a community resource, reflecting expertise in leading and benefiting people and their organizations as a SHRM affiliate in SE WI.

 Founded in 1925, HRMA is the leading organization for human resource professionals in southeastern Wisconsin with over 900 members representing over 500 employers. HRMA provides members the opportunity to network with other HR professionals, attend high quality programs on current human resource issues, and offers the opportunity for leadership, career development and volunteering in their community.

Becoming involved and active on the committee level allows members to benefit the most from HRMA membership. Committee involvement gives members the opportunity to meet with fellow professionals in a small group setting, increase or share their knowledge in a particular area of human resources, and develop leadership skills.
