About WNA

The Wisconsin Nurses Association(WNA) is the professional association for Registered Nurses in Wisconsin. WNA is a constituent member of the American Nurses Association and the Center for American Nurses.

Wisconsin Nurses Association is nurses caring for nurses and nursing, by preserving, supporting and advancing the profession of nursing

The purposes of WNA shall be:

A. To foster high standards of nursing; and
B. To stimulate and promote the professional development of nurses and advance their economic and general welfare.
C. To work for the improvement of health standards and the availability of health care services for all people.

These purposes shall be unrestricted by consideration of age, color, creed, disability, gender, health status, lifestyle, nationality, race, religion, or sexual orientation.
