The close of 2009 brings with it a full plate of Major Sports Championships (including the highly-anticipated Baseball Playoffs and College Football action across the country!) and while immediate focus is on upcoming events such as the Fall Classic and the march to the College Bowl Series, at ISM we’re hard at work selling the next BIG events our clients will attend! These include the 2010 BCS Championship Game at the Rose Bowl, the U.S. Open next year at Pebble Beach and our 2010 PGA Golf Championship packages right here in Wisconsin! Our clients reserve these and many other events including the Super Bowl and Final Four years in advance to nurture their best business relationships and aggressively grow in this current soft market. We want you to come grow with us and sell sports events to A&B-level executives across corporate America.

ISM is seeking dedicated, driven, assertive, and articulate phone savvy Account Executives to launch their careers training in our Regional Office here in Milwaukee.

If you want the chance to do more than talk about growing with a company, and have the work ethic to match, this could be a perfect fit. Initial focus will be selling upcoming events while you receive ongoing mentoring. Exceptional growth potential exists for successful AE’s including participation in our management trainee program within 12 months. Opportunities exist in Milwaukee and many other markets across the U.S. and abroad.

ISM is the global leader in corporate sports hospitality. Since 1997 we’ve worked with over 70% of the Fortune 1000. We’re seeking articulate, assertive, educated, and money-motivated individuals capable of closing deals with senior level management. The position will initially focus on new business acquisition through cold calling (with leads provided) for the first six months, then becomes a combination of account management and acquisition for the remainder of the first year. Selling is conducted 100% via telephone as the territory includes the entire U.S. However, this is not a telemarketing job; it is an executive business to business inside sales position. Your direct clients will include VPs, Presidents, and CEOs.

Our operations team custom creates hospitality functions centered on over 40 sporting events annually. These events top out at well in excess of $100K+. The packages are designed to entertain elite corporate clients. Our services are utilized to foster key client relationships.

This is the perfect opportunity for individuals wishing to experience personal and professional growth. The successful candidate must have superb communication skills, a positive and energetic attitude, great work ethic, & the ability to succeed within a team environment, while making top earnings and enjoying what you do!

Skills / Requirements
What We Require:
Bachelors Degree (Business pref.) AND/OR At least 2 years in sales required, with inside B2B sales preferred
Dedicated driven individuals with a strong work ethic
Superior memorization and problem solving skills
Patience to tackle new concepts along a steep learning curve
Aptitude to negotiate and close business via the phone
Highly motivated to succeed & grow into an expanded role
Ability to explain how a deficiency in one of the above categories shouldn't stop us from interviewing you for the position and your next career
Immediate availability for interview

Pay: $35,000 to $50,000/year
