Job Description

Imagine yourself...

•Coordinating the development of corporate nursing orientation and continuing education programs related to defined area of responsibility.

•Summarizing program evaluations for each program and reports findings to Manager, CNS/NCs, and other appropriate individuals.

•Maintaining educational offerings within budgeted allocations.

•Maintaining records as required by JCAHO and hospital administration.

•Maintaining communication regarding educational programs with CNS/NCs and appropriate management personnel.

•Presenting select educational programs or designs self-directed materials within areas of nursing expertise.

•Acting as a consultant for educational issues and provides feedback regarding overall educational approach.

•Providing support/back-up for other corporate nursing educational programs.

•Communicating to nurses from surrounding hospitals and facilitates their enrollment in appropriate educational offerings.

•Performing other duties as assigned or as necessity dictates.

General Qualifications

Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) granted by the State of Wisconsin.

•Bachelor of Science in Nursing; Master of Science in Nursing preferred.

•Previous Nursing Education experience.

•Minimum three years of previous experience with this patient population.

•Current certification in CPR.

•Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

•Excellent organizational skills and ability to set priorities.
