Job: Network Analyst - Ecommerce

Position Summary:
The Network Analyst role is to design, build and support network infrastructure for Kohl's internally hosted ecommerce site. Collaborate with other teams on a regular basis related to design and support. Conduct research and evaluation of network technology. Continue on-going documentation of the ecommerce infrastructure.

Primary Responsibilities:
· Support ecommerce network infrastructure meeting SLA and application requirements.
· Collaborate with other teams in support of ecommerce initiatives.
· Provide network solutions for short, medium and long term ecommerce projects.
· Maintain documentation of problems with actions taken utilizing BMC Remedy.
· Research, test, recommend and deploy firewalls, load balancers, routers and switches on the local and wide area network.
· Infrastructure monitoring using Solarwinds and Netcool.
· Infrastructure documentation using Visio.
· Maintains current knowledge with respect to relevant state-of-the-art technology, equipment, and/or systems.
· May lead or guide the work of other staff.
· Provide individual and /or group instruction and training to staff on network hardware and software.
· Provide after hours on-call support.

Preferred Qualifications:
· 7-10 years of professional experience.
· CCNP certification a plus.
· Advanced knowledge of Routing Protocols (OSPF, EIGRP, BGP)
· Advanced knowledge of layer 2/3 switching (Cisco 6500 and Nexus)
· Advanced knowledge of F5 LTM, GTM and irules
· Advanced Firewall Configuration and Troubleshooting Experience (Cisco ASA/FWSM, Nokia/Checkpoint)
· Advanced troubleshooting using network analyzers. Network Instruments experience is a plus.
· Self Motivator, able to work on their own and with teams.
