The Lead Nurse Anesthetist is an advanced practice role with accountability for the coordination of people, finances, and business operations for the Anesthesia Department. The Lead Nurse Anesthetist works closely with the Chairman of the Department of Anesthesiology of the Medical College and the Director of Anesthesiology Services at Froedtert Hospital. The Lead Nurse Anesthetist assures that customers are the focus of all business activities and that employee satisfaction is the essential ingredient within all efforts. The Lead CRNA maintains the ability and competency to administer and monitor General and Regional Anesthetics to patients at FMLH under the direction and supervision of staff anesthesiologists of the Medical College of Wisconsin.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

1. Graduate of accredited School of Nursing with current Wisconsin license.

2. Graduate of accredited Nurse Anesthetist School and current AANA Certification.

3. Previous leadership roles desired.
