Job: Health Record Analyst I #858

Assigns diagnostic and procedure codes to Same Day Surgery patients, inpatients (excluding Medicare), and outpatients. Utilizes ICD-9-CM and CPT coding books. Abstracts the information from the charts and inputs this information into the computer system to ensure accurate statistical information within the computer system.

High school grad required. Accreditation with the American Health Information Management Assoc or eligible preferred. Prefer one year experience in coding. Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy & physiology helpful.
