Job: Chaplain

Chaplains facilitate spiritual well-being by assisting patients, families, staff and the wider community to cope and identify sources of meaning and hope in their experience of life transitions, inclusive of suffering, loss and grief, by drawing upon their values and beliefs in the context of their life story. Chaplains do this by providing individual, family and staff visitation; spiritual guidance and direction; advocacy for patient well-being; prayer, worship services, rituals, and sacraments; through the facilitation of support groups and family meetings/care conferences; by serving as a liaison to community clergy and resources; facilitates clinical ethical decisions; and actively participating as an integral member of the clinical care team.

APC, NACC or NAJC certification or eligibility. Valid Drivers License. Proof of Automotive Insurance. Clinical Pastoral Education, 4 units or enrollment in program with completion date of 4 units no later than one year from hire.Chaplaincy experience in a healthcare setting preferred.Spanish/bilingual skills preferredMasters Degree in: Theology, Pastoral Studies, Religion, Divinity, Pastoral Counseling, Social Work, Psychology or related field preferred.Computer literate with knowledge of Microsoft Word and Outlook.This position is located in RacineThis is a full time position whcih includes on-call
