Job: Clinical Staff Pharmacist - Casual

The casual clinical staff pharmacist position at St. Clare's Hospital in Weston, WI offers you an opportunity to participate in decentralized and centralized clinical pharmacy services focused on patient outcomes. As a casual employee, you will be providing coverage for vacations, sick calls, or staffing changes, but have the ability tochoose the available shifts that work for you. Openshifts mayinclude days, evenings and weekends. There isa minimum full-time 4 week training period required prior to picking up open shifts on a casual basis. St. Clare's is a 108 licensed bed facility that opened in 2005 just minutes from Wausau at the intersection of Highways 29 and 51. The Pharmacy team consists of a Director, eight pharmacists and 5.5 technicians who are all motivated professionals. St. Clare's is part of a learning environment that accepts Pharmacy students from many of the midwest pharmacy schools for clerkship rotations that opens opportunities to precept students and residents from within our system of hospitals. You will be part of a team that provides distributive and clinical pharmacy functions at one of the most high-tech hospitals in the nation which includes Computerized Provider Order entry, Electronic Medical Records, and profiled automated dispensing cabinets. You will work in a multi-disciplinary collaborative environment with physicians, nurses, and other health care providers who value teamwork. The scope of clinical services includes pharmacokinetics, metabolic support, IV and oral anticoagulation, trauma/emergency room services and drug information, and covers pediatrics, oncology, internal medicine, cardiology, orthopedic surgery, general surgery, women's health, cardiothoracic surgery, and adult critical care.
