The full-time clinical staff pharmacist position at St. Clare's Hospital in Weston, WI offers you an opportunity to participate in decentralized clinical pharmacy services focused on patient outcomes. St. Clare's is a newly built 108 licensed bed facility just minutes from Wausau on Highway 29. The Pharmacy team consists of (1) Director and a decentralized pharmacy staff of motivated professionals. St. Clare's is part of a learning environment that accepts Pharmacy students from many of the midwest pharmacy schools for clerkship rotations that opens opportunties to precept students and residents from within our system of hospitals. You will have the opportunity of being part of a team that provides distributive and clinical pharmacy functions at one of the most high-tech hospitals in the nation with includes Computerized Provider Order entry, Electronic Medical Records, and profiled automated dispensing cabinets. You will work in a multi-disciplinary collaborative environment with physicians, nurses, and other health care providers that values teamwork. Scope of clinical services cover patient populations including pediatrics, trauma/emergency room services, metabolic support, oncology, internal medicine, pharmacokinetics, pharmacy based anticoagulation services, cardiovascular, and adult critical care. Skills / Requirements
Education: A Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm. D.) degree or a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Pharmacy from an accredited college or university of the United States is required Experience: In lieu of the Pharm.D. degree, a solid performance record at the essential job functions specific to the position is preferred Education: Depending on the specific focus of the staff / clinical pharmacist, a completion of residency training program or other advanced educational credentials are also preferred but not required Licensure: The staff / clinical pharmacist must be licensed to practice as a registered pharmacist or eligible for licensing in the State of Wisconsin Important Notes
