Jobing Description
-Ensures that daily care of members is first priority.
-Work with all ages from 6 months to adult. -Instructors are responsible for guiding children through all aspects of YMCA swim lessons such as personal safety, rescue, personal growth, water sports and games, as well as stroke development. -Candidates must be energetic, motivated, have good communication skills and have a love for children. -This is a very rewarding position that requires dedication to the students and the goals of the YMCA swim program. Skills / Requirements
-Minimum of 16 years of age.
-Ability to swim 200 continuous yards swimming demonstration quality front/back crawls, elementary backstroke, side and breaststrokes. -Ability to be in water for long periods of time. -Excellent communication, leadership and mentoring skills. -A love of water and working with children.
