Position Description

provide physical and layout design for new design, upgrades and expansions of distribution and transmission substations up to 345kV.

Experience to include: Station layout, site design, fencing, grounding systems, conduit and cable systems, AC and DC distribution systems; Substation equipment expansions such as transformer and breaker replacements; Foundation analysis and design, as well as design and analysis of steel structures.

B.S. in electrical engineering from an ABET accredited college is required. Minimum of three years experience designing substations for electric utilities is required. Professional Engineer license is a plus.
