Job Summary:


Greet and determine customer needs, provide customer service, direct customer to the appropriate person/department.


Responsibilities & Duties:


1. Greet and welcome walk in customers – consistently displaying a positive attitude and professional image. Determine customer’s needs and provide assistance - following appropriate procedures for customer identification and information privacy. Answer customer’s questions, review accounts to ensure they have the correct billing option for their needs, set up voice mail, answer feature questions, and add/remove features as needed. If necessary route to appropriate person/department for more in depth assistance. Complete all appropriate follow up activities, adjustments, and notes. Process customer’s charges and payments. Sell accessories. Gain basic knowledge of our computer systems.


2. Assist company visitors and guests. Notify departments and hosts when visitors and guests arrive. Maintain daily visitor log and distribute visitor badges. Ensure procedures with vendors are followed. Sign for deliveries for various departments in the building.


3. Responsible for incoming phone calls and voicemail. Determines customer’s needs and provides assistance. Route calls to appropriate department or individual. Take messages and forward to correct individual.


4. Combine and reconcile deposits from point of sale stations and prepare ‘master’ deposit. Research and coordinate necessary corrections with individual sales representatives. Responsible to ensure adequate coin and bills available throughout the day for the Sales and Service Department.


5. Provide general support to the sales representatives. Perform tasks such as taking messages, answering incoming calls, placing operating fund at their workstation, etc.


6. Review and submit retail sales documents for imaging. Ensure documents meet imaging standards and are submitted in a timely manner.


7. Distribute and receive Public Relation Phones and setting up promotional gift cards when needed. Ensure a smooth transition for the customer.


8. Assist in loss prevention and security functions on sales floor.


9. Assist customers/sales reps with insurance claims, processing service trouble tickets, loaners, provisioning of handsets, phone book transfers and agent returns when available.


10. Performs additional related duties as requested or required.


Requirements:


Four-year high school education or equivalent plus two years experience in customer service or as a receptionist. Associate degree preferred.
