Sexual Assault Treatment Center

Job Description

Working at Aurora Lakeland Medical Center located in the beautiful Geneva Lakes resort area just 35 minutes south west of Milwaukee and 10 minutes from Lake Geneva. Imagine yourself

*Providing immediate medical, and nursing care for sexually assaulted and abused victims.

*Providing initial psychological crisis intervention.

*Providing follow-up education and referral for sexually assaulted victims and their families.

*Providing a minimum of 96 hours of call per month that includes nights and weekend hours.

General Qualifications

*Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing.

*Eligible for or currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Wisconsin.

*High degree of accuracy and detail orientation required for forensic and evidence purposes.

*Ability to interact with individuals at all levels and stages: i.e. children, law enforcement, etc.

* Must be available for two (2) off site educational training sessions each being one week for 40 hours.

*Able to work independently and do quality, detail orientated work.

*Effective communication and listening skills.


Desired Qualifications

*SANE experience, BSN, 3 years clinical experience.

* Completion of specialized SANE training program preferred.

* Computer skills preferred.
