Responsibilities:

PRIMARY FUNCTION:&

With assistance, describes the condition or capability needed by a customer or system to solve a problem or achieve an objective for medium to large, high complexity projects.& The document captures the business need without including views on enhancements needed to the application to satisfy the requirement.& The specification answers the question of& why does the customer need this? Requirements should be sufficiently defined to enable the development of a functional design.& Analyst may review the specifications with the customer, users, and other stakeholders to validate accuracy.& Provide mentoring to BAI and BAII.

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelors degree
3-4 years professional work experience in related field

Other Information

Defines and performs complex analytical systems development tasks to improve the quality of information and service to the Capital Markets Division.& This includes project management, testing and developing new processes to improve efficiency.

Scope of Responsibility:
-Individual Contributor
-Co-manager for new divisional projects
-Support role for maintaining and enhancing existing systems

Specific Duties/Accountabilities:
Identify business issue/concern and recommend solution:
-Participate in technical studies to analyze existing systems and to evaluate business systems requirements.
-Define technical and procedural improvements.
-Formulate proposals for new systems and information needs using data processing equipment, while recognizing and utilizing the limitations and scope of equipment, time constraints, and required format of results.

Project Management:
-Manages system administration including user setup, database maintenance, transaction archival, and audit reporting.
-Liaison to the M&I Support Services Technology for all LAN and WAN related projects.

Testing:
-Write complex test plans.
-Supervises and perform tests of new systems and modifications to existing systems.

Administration:
-Maintain documents, including functional specifications.
-Prepare project progress reports to management.
-Present project proposals for management approval.
-Monitor the efficiency and accuracy of the interfaces and reporting information generated by the department's automated systems.
-Research new systems and identify cost efficiencies that can enhance the current environment.

Education/Knowledge/Skills:
-Bachelor's degree in MIS/CIS/Business or equivalent work experience.
-Minimum of 4 years of financial institution experience or financial institution data processing experience in a similar position.
-Minimum of 2 years experience as a business analyst or similar experience and/or 2 years of project management experience that included working on a major system implementation that crossed several areas of a company.
-4-5 years in IT field.
-Technical skills include:& SQL Server, JAVA, ASP.NET

-Communicate the status of all projects to management and staff.
-Effectively using resources to complete projects within time and budget estimates.
-Solve problems with a practical, analytic approach and work under pressure on time constraints.
