Job Title: Compliance Analyst II

Provides guidance on state and federal compliance issues. Must have knowledge of internal company procedures, federal and state laws and regulations, and examination requirements. Bachelors degree Two to four years of related work experience Other Information Work with the BSA/AML Monitoring & Compliance Groups to identify, analyze and provide reports on data within the various bank systems including the Fortent Monitor monitoring tool.& This position will include data analysis, mapping of data, testing and report writing to include Excel graphing and PowerPoint presentations. Areas of Subject Matter Expertise Required: *Data Analyst *The successful candidate will be analytical, well organized and detail oriented.& The candidate should also have a good understanding of the Bank Secrecy Act and Anti-Money Laundering regulations as well as regulatory expectations. General Responsibilities of this position include: *The analyst will report to the AML Monitoring Group Assistant Manager/Project Leader and will analyze and report on data to enhance the use and effectiveness of the Fortent Monitor AML software. *Create, test and install rules to run against the database to identify unusual activity. *Perform analysis and provide recommendations on ways to streamline and improve monitoring processes and reduce use of non-system reports. *Continuously review application for potential gaps and provide recommendations to assist in the identification of additional forms of money laundering and other illicit activities. *Assist in all systems installations, projects and upgrades to include analysis of transactions, mapping of data, writing of test scripts and testing. *Working with AML management, create and produce productivity and alert management reports for both management and staff. *Based on feedback from BSA/AML compliance management, prepare reports for BSA/AML compliance function. *Working with various Corporate Compliance subject matter experts, create and run reports in BIC (Business Intelligent Center aka data warehouse) to assist in customer information data mining and reporting needs. *Other duties as assigned.
