Responsibilities:

PRIMARY FUNCTION:
Incumbent will consult business line management and develop marketing strategies and plans to meet business objectives for all products and services offered in their division.& Review and modification of existing products in addition to the development of new products may be necessary to maximize profitability and meet customer needs.& Manage and prioritize the activities of internal and external partners to ensure objectives are met or exceeded. Incumbent will work with highly complex business line products and will have significant independent latitude in decision-making gained through ten or more years of experience in the financial services marketing field.& The position requires close working collaboration with line management, other marketing partners, and management throughout the corporation.


Skills / Requirements
Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor¿s degree required with an emphasis in a quantitative business discipline preferred
6-7 years professional work experience in related field

Other Information

Individual will work closely with key business line management as an internal consultant to develop and execute marketing strategies for M&I Wealth Management, with an emphasis on the M&I Investment Management Corp. (IMC) and Marshall Funds teams.& The Marketing Consultant plans, implements and evaluates marketing initiatives and promotional campaigns to support the product line¿s sales efforts. Focus is on the institutional, high net worth and mass affluent market segments and includes marketing through multiple distribution channels ¿ institutional sales, broker-dealer, trust company and financial planners.

SPECIFIC DUTIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES:
-Develop, execute, and maintain annual marketing plan and budget, including situation analysis, objectives, strategies, tactics and the measurement of results.
-Support business line management in the strategic planning process, assessing market opportunities and marketing communications support needs. Includes developing and maintaining ¿marketing dashboards¿ with an emphasis on monitoring results.
-Offer strategic guidance to the business line on integrated marketing opportunities across all distribution channels.
-Manage website content and online strategy for Wealth Management division of M&I
-Work with internal and external agencies or vendors to develop and execute marketing communications from concept to completion including direct mail, advertising, business line web site, quarterly publications, press releases, print collateral and presentations.
-Oversee the production and distribution of quarterly, monthly, annual investment performance information, prospectuses and annual reports.&
-Promote alignment of Wealth Management, Commercial and Community divisions with key target prospects and clients to encourage cross/up sales opportunities through Critical Linkages® referrals.
-Lead or provide marketing support for new product development or new channels of distribution.
-Support the development of effective broker/dealer and distribution channel partner educational seminars, sales and promotional tools, advertising, merchandising, direct mail/lead generation programs and fulfillment program.
-Communicate industry trends, product or service segment growth, market share and key information to sales force and business line management.
-Provide supervision, salary reviews, mentoring and leadership to IMC Marketing associate (s).
-Other responsibilities may be assigned as necessary.

SUPERVISION:
-Incumbent may supervise one or more employees.

SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
-Bachelors degree
-6-10 years or more of sales and/or marketing experience in the financial services industry preferably with a mutual funds or investment management firm.
-Successful track record of managing marketing programs with a demonstrated ability to conceive, direct and execute strategic projects from start to finish
-Ability to identify and prioritize marketing initiatives that meet specific quantitative and qualitative business goals.
-Proven team player with excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills
-Experience managing, training and developing staff
-Knowledge of website content management approaches and enhancemen
