Jobing Description
Home Instead Senior Care, Wisconsin’s #1 non-medical, home care company is seeking a full-time Staff/Scheduling Coordinator for our Appleton, WI office. The Staff/Scheduling Coordinator plays a critical role in matching our senior clients with professional CAREGivers which allow them to stay in their homes instead of having to find other alternatives.

A successful Staff/Scheduling Coordinator is an individual who is compassionate, able to build strong relationships, multi-tasks and can organize schedules through proactive decision making and pre-planning.

Skills / Requirements
A snapshot of the specific duties and responsibilities of the Staff/Scheduling Coordinator include:
Scheduling and Administration

Ensure all clients are scheduled with professional CAREGivers based on client service needs by:

Scheduling CAREGivers for unassigned Client shifts based on established scheduling best practices
-Assessing and coordinating scheduling needs on a daily basis
- Managing and participating in client/CAREGiver introductions for new client/CAREGiver relationships
- Communicating scheduling needs to the Retention and Recruitment Coordinator to ensure we have an adequate pool of qualified CAREGivers to service all clients
- Entering and updating the BOSS system regarding client events, CAREGiver information and all other information pertinent to staffing
- Periodically carrying the on-call pager phone during evenings/weekends to respond to client or CAREGiver emergencies



Relationship Management

The Staff/Scheduling Coordinator must be able to build strong relationships in order to effectively and efficiently match clients with Professional CAREGivers. The Staff/Scheduling Coordinator does this by:

-Developing a working knowledge of our CAREGivers, their abilities, availability and overall performance
- Developing a working knowledge of our Senior Clients, their Decision Makers and the services they require and their scheduling needs
- Building a strong working relationships with our CAREGivers and Clients and Decision Makers by keeping them informed, listening attentively and addressing concerns in a professional and empathic fashion
-Reinforcing our expectations, procedures and policies to CAREGivers and providing feedback to enhance their performance
-Continuously communicating with the Retention and Recruitment Coordinator regarding CAREGiver performance
-Reinforcing Home Instead Senior Care Client expectations and service guidelines to Clients in a professional manner
-Participating in the Client Quality Assurance Program and performing Quality Assurance Visits
-Partnering with the Director of Client Experience to resolve quality assurance issues or client concerns
