Job Description
The mortgage loan officer is responsible for origination of new residential mortgage loans. Will also develop new business by establishing and maintaining relationships with real estate brokers, other key individuals/centers of influence, and organizations within the community.
Responsible for closing loans and ensuring accuracy of client data/information, files, and following regulatory compliance. Cross-sells other services including bank products, insurance, brokerage, trust, and asset management.
Skills / Requirements
Required Skills
Successful candidate will be a high school graduate or equivalent. Minimum of 7 years mortgage originator experience required. Requires excellent sales, presentation, interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively build and deepen relationships with clients as well as business partners.
Requires involvement with community and other broker/real estate representatives. Must be a self-starter with demonstrated success in mortgage originations.
