Jobing Description

Wilderness Hotel & Golf Resort in Wisconsin Dells, Wisconsin, opened Glacier Canyon Lodge in June of 2006. This 25,000 sq. ft. facility will feature a variety of banquet rooms and has an array of conference room sizes and options to cater to meetings, weddings, and event needs.
We are searching for a Sales Manager who is customer service driven, energetic, organized, dedicated, and detail oriented.

This position will prepare detailed sales proposals.

- Coordinate customer relationships by developing new contacts and business opportunities with local and regional meeting planners, etc. to secure contracts for our meeting facilities.
- This position will also coordinate details of booked events until group arrives on property.

Skills / Requirements

This position must work in conjunction with other sales staff, banquet staff and all other departments to assure all guests expectations are exceeded. This position will report directly to the Senior Sales Manager.
- Previous sales experience a must.
- Knowledge of the hotel or banquet sales preferred.
- This position requires constant customer services skills and an understanding of managerial matters.
- Ability to meet goals and expectations required.

Salary will be a base, plus commission; commensurate with experience.
