The During Travel Specialist is responsible for providing individualized and superior during- and post-travel customer assistance in our fast-paced, high volume, 24-hour service center. This position supports all of TMTC's SBU's. This position is 3rd shift with a schedule within the hours of 9pm and 8am. Must be flexible and work rotating weekends and holidays.
Essential Functions:
*Respond to and answer incoming customer calls. *Follow up with travel agents and suppliers to solve problems in real time. *Respond to policy exception refund requests via phone, email, and written correspondence. *Follow up with internal contacts to report and correct problems.
Skills / Requirements
Requirements:
*1 to 2 years of customer service, call center, or related customer contact experience. *College degree preferred but not required. *Excellent written and verbal communication skills. *The ability to work independently; however, is also able to work in a team atmosphere. *Strong proactive and creative problem solving, administrative, organizational, and time management skills. *Basic typing and PC skills.
