Do you want to work in a team-orientated environment?

Do you want to do skilled care but not have the 24/7 of an inpatient hospital position?

Consider joining our Dialysis team!

We will consider new graduates with a strong interest in Dialysis and some related experience.

This position is both inpatient and outpatient. We have 16 stations, with 3 shifts of patients that run Monday through Saturday. We staff the clinic floor with 2 RNs and 4 PCTs Mon-Sat, along with a SW and dietician during the week. Two to three RNs are staffed at the hospital Mon-Sat. Shifts vary based on patient census, but the majority of them are 10, 11 or 12 hour shifts. The clinic opens at 4:45am, and closes by 7:30pm. This is subject to change based on patient census. Every staff member works every other Saturday, and 4 holidays a year, rotating, with one on call holiday. On call every 10th weekend, which includes Friday night through Monday morning, and 2 weekday call nights per month. However, staff maybe asked to pick up extra call when we aren't fully staffed. We use B.Braun machines for dialysis, Baxter cyclers for peritoneal dialysis patients, and a CRRT machine at the hospital for continuous renal replacement. Orientation for no dialysis experience is 12 weeks and then staff starts taking call independently around 6 months. If there is previous dialysis experience this may be shorter.
