Our focus is on teaching patients and families how to regain independence after injury or disability while managing medical/surgical problems that require hospital level care. Be a part of true interdisciplinary collaboration between nurses, therapists, social workers, and providers. The patient is our focus and excellence is our goal. The rehab unit at Aspirus is CARF accredited.

LOCATION: Aspirus Wausau Hospital – Wausau WI

Aspirus is a nationally recognized health system based in Wausau which is located in the center of Wisconsin. Our system and service area extends from beautiful central and northern Wisconsin into the majestic lake shore regions of the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. We have 8 hospitals and over 55 primary care/specialty clinics.


Our ideal candidate will possess the following skills:

The Registered Nurse is a professional who assumes the responsibility and accountability for the provision of assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of nursing care provided that incorporates evidence based practice. A key aspect of the work of Nursing is to continually improve the quality of nursing care by collecting and analyzing data.


Candidates should possess one or more of the following:

Knowledge of patient care standards and practices normally acquired through completion of a nursing program. Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred.

Possesses an active Wisconsin RN nursing license.

Current CPR certification or obtained within 90 days of hire.
