Laminator Operator - Flexible Packaging (2D Shift) - De Pere, WI

Do you enjoy working hands-on utilizing some of the best technology in the printing and packaging industry?  Does accepting daily challenges and exceeding goals resonate with you?  Belmark is currently seeking a Laminator Operator to run our world class equipment to produce a high quality product in a timely fashion for our customers.  With a focus on innovation and customer satisfaction, our operators are able to work in a friendly environment with a potential to grow with the company.  The work hours are from 4:00 P.M. - 4:00 A.M. with a schedule of 3 days on and 4 days off.  Employees on this shift work 36 hours but are paid for 40 hours.  Our employees enjoy the rotating shift due to the days off received, which allows time to accomplish things around the home or spend time with friends and family.  The shift differential for 2D is $1.00 more per hour.

Position Overview

  • Operate a laminating press at the highest efficiency possible while following standard operating procedures and work instructions to produce a high quality product.
  • Ensure product print impression and registration, as well as proper anilox, tensions, die cut and stripping on each job.
  • Web the press, maintain adhesives, clean press, install doctor blades, install cylinders and perform routine press maintenance.
  • Maintain quality, productivity and waste according to set standards.

Position Requirements

  • Requires education equivalent to two (2) years of high school.
  • Knowledge of and the ability to speak the English language fluently.
  • Regular attendance is required.  May be required to work some overtime.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide whole numbers, decimals and fractions.
  • Ability to read, comprehend and follow simple written and oral instructions.
