As an essential part of our Cardiac Critical Care Department, the Assistant Nurse Manager is responsible for the daily patient care activities, personnel management and facilitating a stable and organized work environment through leadership, direction and delegation to provide and maintain quality nursing care.
Responsibilities include the following:
• Promoting staff growth and development
• Participating in the evaluation process and counseling procedures
• Determining and effectuating management decisions
• Evaluating performance and the direction of staff
To qualify, you must have a BSN, current NYS RN License, and 2-3 years of Critical Care experience. Superior oral/written communication, decision-making, motivational, analytical and team building skills will be expected. Management experience preferred.
