The City of Eau Claire is accepting applications for volunteer youth baseball coaches, youth soccer coaches and youth flag football coaches. Must work well with children, and be a mature adult with some knowledge and experience with the sport volunteering for. If you are interested in volunteering, please complete the online application. Please note that criminal background checks are conducted on all volunteer coaches.

SUMMER VOLUNTEER COACHES NEEDED:
Position: Soccer Coach
Hours/Week: 2 (evenings)
Days Required: Monday-Thursday evenings
Salary: VolunteerDescription: Above average soccer knowledge and skills. 2-4 years instructing or coaching youth soccer preferred.Position: T-Ball/Baseball CoachHours/Week: 2 (evenings)Days Required: Monday-Thursday eveningsSalary: VolunteerDescription: Above average baseball knowledge and skills. 2-4 years instructing or coaching youth baseball preferred.Position: Flag Football CoachHours/Week: 2 (evenings)Days Required: Tuesday, Thursday, and some SundaysSalary: Volunteer

YEAR-ROUND VOLUNTEERS NEEDED:
Position: Specialized Recreation Activity Assistant
Hours/Week: 2-6 hours/week
Days Required: Monday-Thursday afternoons; Wednesday evenings
Description: Mature individual who enjoys assisting individuals with varying disabilities during our specialized recreation programs. Responsible for directly assisting participants with activities such as games and crafts, distribution of snacks, and program set-up and tear-down. Activity Assistants are also encouraged to socialize with the participants during the programs. Volunteer groups are welcome to "drop-in". Volunteers who plan to assist on a regular basis must complete an online application and undergo a criminal background check.
