Senior Mechanical Engineer (Madison, WI) F/T. Perform engineering duties in planning & dsgng tools, engines, machines, & other mechanically functioning eqpmt. Work on the dvlpmt & deployment of fusion energy systems. This role involves dvlpg the mechanical dsgn of complicated 3D structural parts incl the divertor, superconducting coils & first wall (vacuum vessel) for Infinity One, a proto-type stellarator confinement device. This role is also responsible for the structural & thermomechanical integrity, the manufacturability, & the timely industry procurement of the complex 3-D shaped metal components. $124,050.00 /yr.
