Staff Softw Engineer (multi positions) sought by GE Precision Healthcare LLC in Waukesha, WI. Work with a cross functional global team of engineers, scientists and applications experts to translate high level Positron Emission Tomography (PET) with Magnetic Resonance (MR) application needs that demand new acquisition and reconstruction capabilities into component-level requirements. Design and implement solutions to complex data management and distributed processing softw problems in the acquisition and reconstruction platform domain in accordance with established softw devment practices and processes. Plan and perform integration activities at component, sub-system and system level. Pos'n reqs Bach deg, or forgn deg equiv, in Comp Science, Electrical Eng, or a related Comp-based fld and 9 yrs of progressively responsible, post-bachelor's degree related softw development exp. Position also requires: 7 yrs of exp dev softw in the Healthcare fld or similar regulated industry; 9 yrs of exp dev softw for complex systems or computerized products; 9 yrs of exp in the softw development cycle or automated testing; 9 yrs of exp in object-oriented design methodology using C++ in production softw environment; 9 yrs of exp with configuration management tools; 5 yrs of exp with PET Medical Imaging softw; 2 yrs of exp with MATLAB or equivalent scientific modeling tools and packages; 5 yrs of exp with requirements management tools; 7 yrs of exp troubleshooting production systems issues.
