Job Description

Position Summary
Serve as the first point of contact and primary resource for general testing, accommodation testing, and GED/HSED process for students and staff.  Performs a variety of duties involved in organizing, implementing, reviewing and evaluating services of the Testing Center.  Ensures compliance with testing policies.  Aids in district wide scheduling of testing and testing services.

Duties & Responsibilities
Greet and provide customer service to students, employees, and the public in the Testing Center.

Respond to a variety of in-person or phone inquiries pertaining to Testing Center, Accuplacer, transcript requests, and other college services; make appropriate referrals as needed.

Perform general office duties to include maintaining office supplies and testing materials; maintaining electronic calendars for Testing Center and staff; inputting, managing, and maintaining electronic filing; and data entry.

Coordinate PearsonVue and HSED/GED testing to include scheduling individuals for testing, processing testers, distributing testing schedule, and publicizing testing availability.

Administration and coordination of a variety of testing for current and prospective students including college admissions/placement testing, GED/HSED testing and a variety of certifications exams.

Proctor a variety of tests, including but not limited to: ASE, Castle, CERTIPORT, CLEP, Pearson VUE, UW Placement and other college course exams.

Develop testing schedules that fit the needs of staff, faculty, students, and outside agencies.

Collaborate with internal resources of the College including the Academic Advisors, Academic Divisions, Counselors, Disability Services, and the LiNK as needed.

Maintain confidentiality and security of all testing materials, test logs, and other test documents. Must be vigilant to ensure testing integrity; able to administer Testing Center rules. Maintain a quiet atmosphere appropriate to testing.

Prepare documentation on cheating or dishonesty to assist in student discipline process.

Inventory and order exams on an ongoing basis. Return testing materials to the appropriate instructors, agencies, or other colleges as required.

District wide travel required.

Troubleshoot with internal departments to fix technical issues.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
Associate’s degree in related field required.  Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered in lieu of associate’s degree. 

Minimum of one year of prior office experience in a setting which utilized current office technology required.  
 
Working knowledge of Windows, Microsoft Office applications, and PeopleSoft applications, or the ability to learn and use PeopleSoft.  Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
 
Ability to learn other technology platforms related to testing such as PearsonVue, Certiport, ASE, CLEP and others.
 
Must possess excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.

Compensation is dependent upon experience and qualifications.
